The Nameless Dark (2015) – Blood And Ashes
Through this dismal industrial landscape of old
Howl the grim and carnivorous winds,
Like freezing black lungs that exhale the decay
And the dirt of the world going down.
The bread which I ate and the wine which I drank
Were the flesh and the blood of the carrion crows
That succumbed to starvation and died a slow death
In the dirt of the world going down.
Here in the dirt of the world going down
I am writhing in spasms and throes,
Caughing blood, caughing ashes
And spitting thick phlegm of both.
The blood I am coughing is feeding the dirt,
Seeping away in the grey
And leaving a darkening trail of the past
In the dirt of the world going down.
